These characters are loosely based on people from my neighborhood in Lisbon - more like a collage from people I see in really life, with bits of my imagination. It was inspired by the incredible experience of grocery shopping.
As an avid people watcher, I love noticing the way different people pile up their itens, and the random combination of products, I think is shared experience worldwide, so why not make it cute?
